HDL Management USA Corporation (HDL) is currently seeking an experienced food buyer in the food service field to join our team in Arcadia, CA.HDL has been recently expanding our hot pot business widely in different states and cities of the US and is looking for sharp, smart, like-minded individuals to help take us to the next level!JOB DESCRIPTIONS:Purchase raw/packaged/finished goods from domestic or international suppliers/manufacturers, create transactions in alignment with company financial goals.Gain a working knowledge of HDL regular suppliers/manufacturers (international and domestic)Gain a working knowledge of all customer (stores) pricing and supplier pricing.Correspond and advise stores on changes needed/suggestedKnowledge of ocean vessel container specifications and loading requirements based on cases/pallet, case cube, case weight and correlate with customer/manufacturer requirements; ability to max load a container for company benefit.Update regular manufacturer price lists of any price increase/decreaseCoordinate with suppliers/manufacturers for pricing verification, MOQ requirement, loading and consolidation abilities for complex re-orders.Work with domestic and overseas trucking/shipping companies/brokers to negotiate better rates that will impact Profit and Loss.Coordinate well with other buyers, DC/logistics and accounting departments internally on store requests and revisions.Perform other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's DegreeInterest in foodservice purchasing and management.3 - 5 years senior buyer, purchasing, procurement department, supply chain experiencePreferred Requirements:Experience with SAP SoftwareRelevant industry experience a plusBilingual in English and MandarinJOB TYPE: Full TimeSTART DATE: ImmediatelyJOB LOCATION: Metro LAWAGE / SALARY / TITLE: Depending On ExperienceContact info: email: [email]bais6@haidilao.com[/email] cell phone: Mandy:9495200368
